I'm in this predicament right now. For the kind of stuff I want to do, I really need to get a good pair of hiking boots (which I will eventually end up doing). But for my day to day stuff, I almost always end up wearing my Chacos. Being from California, I'm used to wearing sandals a lot, and it used to be Tivas. But after a friend recommended Chacos over Tevas and I got a pair, there's no going back. So now I got the zig zag Chaco tan.
